We can quickly provide you with a price quote for hardwood floor refinishing, installations and our numerous other services.

In-home written price quotes can be given by scheduling an appointment with us.

However, the simplest and fastest way to receive a quote is right over the phone.

The primary factor determining the overall cost is the number and sizing of the rooms you wish to have worked upon. We can easily give you a quote based on your room dimensions or total square footage.

If you accurately measure the length and width of each area to be covered we will be able to provide you with an accurate phone quote on refinishing your existing floors.

Most rooms are rectangular and are quite simple to measure. Other irregular rooms will need to be visually broken down into 'boxes' so as to cover all of the room's area. [see image on right]

We can also provide a general estimate for installing new flooring over the phone.

Once you receive the phone estimate and are satisfied with the amount specified, we require a technician to provide you with an accurate in-home written price quote for all new flooring installations. The phone estimate and written quote will often be fairly identical if all information provided us is accurate.

Please keep in mind the various factors you may want to consider when calling. You do not need to have all of the following options decided upon at the time of your call, but keeping in mind some of these possible variables may help us expedite your quote request.

Once a quote is received and you make the decision to allow us to service your home improvement needs, it usually takes about a week to schedule the appointment for us to begin the work.

Please be aware that New York State sales tax law #1101(b)(9), sec.#527.7(a)(3) states that all home maintenance, repairs, and service of real property, including that on existing hardwood flooring [refinishing], are taxable; whereas new permanent hardwood floor installations performed by contractors are a nontaxable capital home improvement.
